The Point - Coming Soon.

The Point

Will there come a point
where I stop and I point at the point
being made
feel so cold in the shade
a lot of people left when I wished they had stayed
so i don’t anymore
maybe not again, we dont know whats in store
and we just might, u think its coming from the left -comes from the right
open your door
let it flow through.
like notes on a score
like the waves in a shore
be sure
let it roll through,
be strong
in your core.
make it a place u know u can go to - to restore.
your self, your soul, your mind.
and I have to remind myself of this all of the time
and that doesn’t exist- maybe its gravity lost in the mist
power isn’t real - yet there brainwashing nations
humans were made to be gracious,
the heart looks like a hand shaped like a fist
confusion lies at the top of the list its outrageous
dont insist
because we feel it
feel the agony of all of the humans - its real
Iet me peel it
like an onion, with layers of truth
brings tears to my eyes - a career in the booth
society lies but you see not to choose
you sure see all the ties and the shoes
we protect our loved ones
dnt want the ego to get bruised
we know the rule
if u snooze u lose.
its an image, a thumbnail for a person
no dialogue is possible its certain

In this song I was trying to convey a one way conversation. Usually something we have to go through all the time in our era, singular monologue’s directed and thrown at each other with no real aim. People don’t really share - thus really use their ability to ‘ talk’ effectively. Everyone is connected (addicted) to their forms of technology and has snippets and thumbnails for lives instead of really being in contact and really knowing and being there for others. For themselves. Living and experiencing together rather than through their phones and computer screens. Oh Digital age. My thoughts - formed - in a song - to a person (any person) who has to endure the motion of listening to it. The tone of my voice keeps changing, the tone.. and the melody. So when u want to stop listening, its supposed to zone you out so u can’t, then before u know it its over. Abruptly. Thus is life.
